We are currently seeking an experienced Sea Operations Operator to join our team on a full-time basis at our Bankstown Airport office. This role involves processing documents efficiently, liaising with Customs Agents, clients, and various transport bodies, and taking corrective action to prevent non-conformances.

About the Role

  • Process import and export documentation - sea, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Liaise with Customs Agents, clients, and transport bodies to resolve queries and issues.
  • Take corrective action to prevent recurrence of non-conformances.
  • Responsible for booking cargo with shipping lines and consolidators, reviewing SLIs, inspecting dangerous goods documentation and cargo, and recording internal and external complaints.
  • Take responsibility for documenting Document Change Requests and inspecting freight received or dispatched.
  • Liaise with Shipping Lines regarding rates and arrange ultimate consignee prior to arrival of vessel.
