Occupational Therapist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Murrumbidgee region. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients in their homes, providing high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to promote independence and restore functional abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients living in the community
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to clients under Aged Care funding
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and carers
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency
- Postgraduate experience working with a variety of aged care services, including the community setting
- Knowledge of wellness, re-ablement, and restorative care approaches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team and independently
