About the Role

Arrowquip is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team in a dynamic and innovative environment. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and strategic guidance to support the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and present monthly management reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), highlighting key financial performance metrics and providing actionable insights.
    • Conduct variance analysis and financial modeling to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Collaborate with the CCO to develop and implement the annual budget, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Prepare cash flow forecasts and provide recommendations to management to optimize financial performance.
  • Financial Investigations and Audits
    • Conduct thorough financial investigations and audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
    • Prepare financial statements for presentation to boards, management, shareholders, and statutory bodies.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Oversee month-end accounting processes, including reconciliations, journals, and bookkeeping.
    • Assist in formulating budgetary policies and support the finance team on an ad hoc basis.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in forecasting and budgeting, including inventory control, in a manufacturing environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, and/or business management.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex reports and proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills, time management, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong record of delivering high-quality customer service.
