Accounting Manager

This role will be responsible for the overall financial accounting for Euro Car Parts Limited. The responsibilities will include month close postings, variance analysis and reporting to the company's stakeholders. This person will also be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, clearing of outstanding items and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for processing and reviewing month end close postings to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Responsible for maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations for the company, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Involvement in the production and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packs for the company, with variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Involvement in the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately, on time and in adherence to company policies.
- Responsible for responding to queries from external and internal auditors as necessary, providing clear and concise explanations of financial data.
- Responsible for resolving VAT and Corporation Tax enquiries and analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Superior analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.
- Ability to communicate with non-finance colleagues, providing clear and concise explanations of financial data.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and meet deadlines, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience managing a team, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve financial goals.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience of SOX, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
