Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Floor Finisher to join our team in QLD. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects and develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing coverings such as carpets, linoleum, parquetry blocks, cork tiles, and other resilient flooring materials over floors.

  • Measure area to be covered carefully, make sketches as a guideline, and then cut the floor coverings precisely to fit the unique specifications of the space.
  • Secure floor coverings in place with tacks, staples, tape, or glue, adjusting as needed to accommodate size and type of material being used.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Clean the workspace thoroughly before departing on the last day of the job.
  • Communicate your schedule and any unexpected complications with the client in a timely, respectful, and professional manner.

Additionally, we require candidates who possess excellent communication and teamwork proficiency, a willingness to take the time for precision, and knowledge of tools such as knives, staple guns, shears, and glue guns.

The ideal candidate should have a Certificate III in Flooring technology or relevant qualification, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant field.
