Job Opportunity: Lead Educator

The Centre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to fill the role of Assistant Director. This position involves providing strong leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with the Centre Director to ensure seamless operation of the Centre
- Develop and deliver high-quality education and care programs that meet the needs of children and their families
- Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, children, and families through effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote quality improvement and compliance
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve Centre goals and objectives
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Qualifications and Experience:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
- Current Senior First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates
- State-relevant Working with Children Check, Blue Card, or Safety Screening certification
- Current Child Protection Training completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing multiple priorities effectively

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience as an Assistant Director or Lead Educator
- Knowledge and experience with Qikkids and Educa (or similar platforms)
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software
