The SEE Group is a family-built company with over 35 years of experience in delivering excellence across civil construction, mining, and infrastructure. We're seeking a highly skilled WHS Advisor to join our team and contribute to our mission of building careers and shaping communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support, upskilling, and facilitation of incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Partner with project teams to support proactive management of key health and safety risks and provide advice in line with our WHS Management System.
- Conduct WHS Audits and report on findings.
- Implement and coordinate WHS strategies, initiatives, training, and coaching.
- Coordinate site-based health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in all areas of the WHS function.
Requirements
- Hold a Diploma in WHS and Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE).
- Current Drug & Alcohol Screening/Testing Qualification.
- Previous experience on Civil Construction and TMR projects, ideally with slope/landslip remediation project experience.
- Have a current First Aid & CPR certificate.
- Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and adept at learning new IT systems.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen.
- Have WHS risk management knowledge to facilitate the development of safe work procedures.
- A Safety Differently/Safety II mindset.
- A team player with a can-do attitude that includes assisting disciplines other than WHS.
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check.
