We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic testing team at Insignia Financial. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our performance testing capabilities, including designing and implementing performance test strategies, frameworks, and reporting modules.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement a performance test strategy that can be scaled across our technology product portfolio, ensuring comprehensive and effective testing.
- Adopt and customize performance test frameworks to suit the specific needs of the applications under test.
- Develop a performance test reporting module to communicate application performance metrics clearly and effectively.
- Partner with internal and external teams to create user profiles and workload models, enhancing the accuracy of performance tests.
- Collaborate with application architects on capacity planning and modelling exercises to optimize system performance.
- Lead Agile teams to integrate performance testing within sprints, ensuring performance considerations are part of the development process.
- Train and upskill existing and new QA Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development in performance testing.
- Significant experience in performance testing, including expertise with tools such as Apache JMeter, Gatling, and LoadRunner.
- Proven experience in building performance test frameworks and reporting dashboards.
- Strong skills in performance engineering tasks, such as capacity planning and application performance management.
- Experience setting up performance testing environments in the cloud, preferably AWS.
- Ability to influence and provide technical direction, with excellent communication skills to discuss outcomes and recommendations with stakeholders.
