As a skilled Teaching Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the development of clinical practice within our Emergency Department team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in nursing and be able to design and deliver engaging education programs that enhance care standards. You will mentor nursing students and new staff members, guiding them through their learning journey and empowering them with the knowledge, confidence, and resources required for success.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop tailored education programs to elevate care standards and improve practitioner skills
- Lead mentoring sessions and guide nursing students and new staff, providing expert guidance and support
- Evaluate current practices and plan for future growth, ensuring continuous improvement within the department
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Post-registration qualification or equivalent experience in clinical/educational settings deemed appropriate by the employer
- Extensive experience in relevant clinical environments deemed suitable by the selection panel
