Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer - Power Systems to lead the design and optimization of electrical systems for wind, solar, battery storage, and pumped hydro projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize electrical systems for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of project development, from initial design through to commissioning, ensuring seamless integration with renewable energy sources.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and performance assessments for electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with renewable energy sources, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
  • Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and problem-solving efforts, ensuring alignment with project sustainability goals and client expectations.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering deliverables and project outputs.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in power systems engineering, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
  • Expertise in designing and optimizing electrical systems for wind, solar, battery storage, and pumped hydro.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, grid standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in leading complex projects and managing technical teams.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and simulation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
