About the Opportunity

Catholic Education is seeking an experienced IT Service Owner to join their fast-growing IT Shared Services team and be accountable for the management of Application Delivery and Support of all Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and People Management Systems, including Work Health Safety (WHS) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the platform service lifecycle, including defining and executing platform service vision and strategy, validating business requirements and design, identifying and resolving issues.
  • Lead and define an outcome-oriented service roadmap, informed by customer insights and feedback. Define and write user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics, ensuring customer-centric product design, development, and delivery.
  • Lead research, including consultation with stakeholders and related activities, to define current and future product enhancements to meet customer needs and maximize return on investment.
  • Ensure service design compliance with regulatory obligations and relevant Catholic Education policies and standards, proactively identifying, mitigating, and managing risks associated with the service, and remediation initiatives.
  • Plan and design tests that validate services have been built against design specification.
  • Embed a service management culture within the wider team and lead all service design activities for the platform.
