About the role: As a Bakery Associate, you'll take pride in contributing to an exceptionally presented bakery department that's welcoming and engaging. Our team is passionate about baking, and we love it when they share their love with customers.

In this role, you'll be the special ingredient that makes the shopping experience irresistible. You'll play an important part in ensuring exceptional customer experiences by helping your store receive the right products at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extensive experience in a fast-paced bakery environment is required.
  • A sound knowledge of all aspects of food safety and hygiene is essential.
  • A willingness to coach and support other team members in learning your craft is necessary.
  • To be customer-obsessed and continually seek to better understand diverse customers.
  • A real passion for quality and consistency is key.
  • An eye for detail and accuracy is crucial.
  • A commitment to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy and pace.
  • You'll be the go-to person for delivery queries, so you'll need to know your stuff.
  • To be active - you'll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
  • Availability to work flexible hours across our store trading days (including early mornings, evenings and weekends) is a must.
