About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Infrastructure Planner to join our team at EBR. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, mentoring, coaching, and providing technical guidance.

The successful candidate will have experience in statutory planning, approvals, and strategic planning in NSW, with a strong appreciation of the role infrastructure plays in land use planning. You will engage with clients to support master planning, precinct planning, or regional planning outcomes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of professionals and providing technical guidance
  • Delivering private sector approvals with diversity of scale across a range of markets
  • Engaging with clients to support master planning, precinct planning, or regional planning outcomes
  • Utilising a strong appreciation of the role infrastructure in land use planning
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Preparing reports to exceptional technical and editorial standards
  • Managing commercial risks and opportunities
  • Improving or building key client relationships

About the Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum bachelor's degree in an appropriate field, experience in NSW undertaking statutory and strategic planning, and an ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams. A strong communicator and natural collaborator, you will have a desire to deliver exceptional client experiences and be able to navigate DA's, SSD's, or undertake strategic planning at precinct or development scale.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in an appropriate field
  • Experience in NSW undertaking statutory and strategic planning
  • Ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams
  • Strong communicator and natural collaborator
  • Desire to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Current driver's license
