Project Manager Job

A senior project manager is required for a key role leading remediation projects in the mining sector. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex shutdowns, overseeing multiple projects, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating labour and subcontractors, controlling costs, and executing projects efficiently. They will also need to provide technical advice and guidance, liaise with clients to maintain schedule adherence, and participate in tendering and estimation processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have approximately 5 years of experience in a related field, with expertise in mining, plant maintenance, and shutdown operations. Key skills include:

  • Mining, plant maintenance, and shutdown expertise
  • Blast & paint, concrete repair, and remediation knowledge
  • Ability to coordinate complex shutdowns
  • Strong planning and program skills
  • Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs

In addition, the candidate will require a tertiary qualification in Construction or Engineering and hold a current White Card and Driver's License.
