Job Description

This role focuses on providing expert technical support and high-value services for mine planning software globally. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with the ability to manage their workload effectively, possess a customer-centric approach with analytical skills and a proactive solution-focused mindset.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to clients using mine planning software
  • Develop documentation for product development teams and assist in capturing information about software issues and enhancement requests
  • Effectively identify potential issues and offer solutions to clients in a timely and accurate manner regarding the use of mine planning software worldwide
Operational Requirements:
  • Attend and present product demonstrations at industry conferences or seminars
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams on pre-bid and post-sale support
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures, participation in audits, and adherence to instructions given to ensure the health and safety of oneself and others
Customer Service Expectations:
  • Act as an advisor and liaison between sales and customers for ongoing service optimization opportunities
  • Participate in on-call support activities, with a rotational roster requiring support one weekend per month including public holidays
  • Maintain a customer-centric service mindset, partnering across internal and external stakeholders

This position is based in Perth CBD but may require travel up to 30% across the year to client sites. For on-call support, it is a team-based roster arrangement with one member required to support each weekend, including public holidays.

Requirements:
  • Background in mining operations and experience working with mine operating/planning software
  • Experience in technical sales or service support roles, with a focus on client-facing solutions
  • Ability to work with multiple departments to meet sales/service support requirements and build a cohesive working culture
  • Customer-centric approach with analytical skills and a proactive solution-focused mindset
