Job Title: System Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced System Design Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and managing entire systems integration of communications projects, including detailed design, set to work, integration testing, and deployment.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop project-specific detailed design and integration processes aligning them to the Engineering Management System.
  • Plan and execute detailed design and integration activities, including resource allocation, task management, and problem solving.
  • Identify potential issues, manage risk, and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful integration.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, issues, and risks.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering team members.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Electrical/Electronics/Communications/Mechatronics).
  • 10+ years' experience in Electronic Systems Integration, Communications Systems Engineering, or similar role.
  • 5+ years' experience in team management, preferably in a defence communications project.
  • Australian Citizen.
  • Eligible to obtain an Australian Security Clearance.
  • Eligible to access/export-controlled technology, data, and information.
  • Eligible for registration with the National Engineering Register (NER) and state engineering authority.
