About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Team Member to join our team at Stratco Whitsundays in Proserpine. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating roll form and general sheet metal equipment, maintaining a safe working environment, and collaborating with team members and other departments as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate roll form and general sheet metal equipment to produce high-quality products
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Participate in training for specific items of plant and equipment, including welding and fabrication
  • Weld and fabricate materials to customer specifications, with training provided

About You

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with machine operation
  • Strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
  • Basic awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts and people
  • Desirable - sheet metal and welding experience, as well as a forklift license
