Are you a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher seeking a new challenge?

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified ECT to lead our kindergarten room in the Waratah estate in Mickleham. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering a high-quality education program that caters to the diverse needs of our children;
  • Working closely with the Centre Manager and other team members to build strong relationships with families and the wider community;
  • Managing classroom activities, programs, and routines to ensure a smooth and engaging learning environment;
  • Supporting and coaching educators to deepen their understanding of the curriculum and promote reflective practice;

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA;
  • Previous experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, with demonstrated expertise in implementing the VEYLF, EYLF, and NQF;
  • Senior first aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification;
  • Victorian Institute of Teaching registration (VIT);
  • A passion for creating engaging and inviting learning spaces that link to the curriculum.
