Drill and Blast Engineer Opportunity

This role involves designing and optimising underground drill and blast patterns to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-grade gold.

The project targets an average of 80-90,000oz annual gold production in regional NSW. You will be responsible for leading a high-performing hard rock mining team, ensuring the delivery of key performance indicators and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimise underground drill and blast patterns to achieve optimal results.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of minerals.
  • Lead a high-performing hard rock mining team to deliver strategic objectives.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mining Engineering with a strong understanding of geological principles.
  • Underground hard rock experience in drill & blast design and execution is essential.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Vulcan, Deswik, ShotPlus, or similar software applications.
