Hard Rock Mining Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hard Rock Mining Engineer to design and optimise underground drill and blast patterns for safe, efficient, and cost-effective production in regional NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimise underground drill and blast patterns to ensure optimal resource extraction and minimise waste generation
  • Develop and implement effective mine planning strategies to maximise resource extraction and achieve long-term business objectives
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business plans that align with the company's vision and goals
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mining Engineering or related field with strong emphasis on hard rock mining principles
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in underground hard rock mining with focus on drill and blast design and execution
  • Strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and professional development
  • Proficiency in Vulcan, Deswik, ShotPlus, or similar software packages
