Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished technologist to lead our engineering efforts in the Pricing sub-team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in AI/ML.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience in backend software development, and a passion for data engineering and delivery management.

The successful applicant will join a team of professionals working on complex problems, and will be responsible for:

  • System architecture – designing systems that meet business requirements
  • Technical leadership – ensuring that developed systems meet high standards
  • Delivery management – fostering a culture of rapid delivery and aligning teams with agreed roadmaps and timelines
  • People management – providing line management and growing engineers within the team
  • Cross-functional team building – contributing to the development of a high-performing team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers
  • Stakeholder management – collaborating with peers from data science and product management, as well as stakeholders across the organization, to contribute to system designs and key decisions

  • Managing technical projects and ensuring seamless integration of new technologies
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in languages such as Python, SQL, Spark/Databricks, AWS, Java, CI/CD, and DevOps
  • Experience in backend software engineering (10+ years)
  • A keen interest in data engineering and delivery management
