Glen Eira Leisure offers a range of sports and competitions across three main facilities catering to ages and abilities. The Sports Programs Assistant will support the Sports Programs Team Leader in running these programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with organisation and maintenance of internal sporting competitions operating at Glen Eira Leisure
  • Set up functions and sports events
  • Roster umpires and referees
  • Evaluate leisure facilities operation, maintenance and cleaning standards
  • Support coordination and implementation of sports programs and stadium hire
  • Provide administrative support as required
About You

We are looking for someone who is innovative, efficient and team-focused with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and attention to detail. Strong initiative and time management abilities, along with communication and diverse organisational capabilities, are essential.

Requirements
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in sports-related or customer-focused roles
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience in sports competitions and events
  • Level 2 First aid with CPR (or be willing to obtain)
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings to assist delivery on sport competitions
