About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Programs Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging schools in the Federal Government Sporting Schools initiative, creating a pathway for ongoing community sport participation with local clubs and coaches.

This is a key role within our organization, requiring strong administration skills, knowledge of the Australian Tennis industry, and a deep understanding of the education sector.

The Programs Coordinator will work closely with our team to ensure the effective coordination and delivery of all administration processes, providing a quality experience for schools and endorsed deliverers.

Responsibilities
  • Administer end-to-end processes for the Sporting Schools initiative, including communication with schools and coaches.
  • Liaise with the Federal Government Sporting Schools team on program-related queries.
  • Support coaches in becoming Sporting Schools endorsed, including registration and approvals.
  • Distribute equipment packs and support materials through the warehouse distribution centre/system.
  • Collate data and process teacher registrations for the Teacher Ambassador Program.
  • Accurately record and update information within databases.
Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of the Australian Tennis industry.
  • Strong understanding of the education sector and challenges facing schools/teachers.
  • Proven knowledge in coach membership processes and approvals.
  • High-level administration skills, including database management, email, and internet systems.
  • Holding a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Flexibility in working hours and arrangements related to work associated with tennis.
