The role of a Rehabilitation Consultant is to empower individuals to regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work. Our team provides occupational rehabilitation services, helping clients to overcome physical and emotional challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of an individual's abilities, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments.
- Develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans based on the client's needs and goals.
- Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
- Identify barriers to success and design, implement, and monitor programs that support individuals to achieve maximal work participation.
- Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
- Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy.
- Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA.
- Genuine desire to make a measurable impact in people's lives.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
- Customer-first mindset with focus on quality outcomes.
- Confidence working independently in the community.
- Driver's license and vehicle required.
- Eligibility for a working with children's check and police clearance.
