Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Garment Technologist to join our swimwear and activewear teams.

  • Collaborate closely with the design team to develop high-quality garment prototypes.
  • Conduct thorough fit sessions, providing expert feedback on manufacturing finishes.
  • Create initial Tech Packs in conjunction with designers for prototype development and maintain tech packs at every stage.
  • Drive excellence in CAMILLA's fit and quality standards.
  • Liaise daily with buying teams and suppliers in India and China regarding re-fits, fabrics, labelling, and grading.

The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience in womenswear environments, tertiary education in Design, Pattern making and Grading, and a genuine awareness of trends to incorporate into fit sessions.

About the Role

As a Garment Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality and fit in our swimwear and activewear collections. You will work closely with the design team to develop prototypes and conduct thorough fit sessions. Your expertise in manufacturing finishes and tech pack management will be essential in maintaining our brand's reputation for excellence.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and grading.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in fit session management and technical specification creation.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
