We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our high-performing team based in Sydney, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for quality and innovation to drive excellence in garment production.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, fit, and finish. You will work closely with Design, Product Development, and Production teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Creation of accurate technical specifications, including garment construction, measurements, and fit details;">
  • Communication of any issues or concerns prior to handing over for sampling;">
  • Collaboration with Suppliers to resolve ongoing issues and concerns;">
  • Attendance at fit sessions to take notes, offer suggestions for improvement, and process comments in line with critical path dates;">
  • Continuing management of products to ensure consistency of fit, color, wash, and fabric quality;">
  • Providing information on garment fit, construction, and fabrics at all stages, from handover and sampling process.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Qualification in QA fashion/garment technology and/or relevant work experience;">
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as Garment Tech or similar;">
  • Sound knowledge of Garment construction, patternmaking, and grading;">
  • Sound understanding of commercial production processes and textiles performance;">
  • Full understanding of fit and sealing processes;">
  • Prior experience and working knowledge of successful retailers or wholesalers;">
  • A high level of organisational skills;">
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute to an environment promoting success.">
