Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our in-house infrastructure team in Sydney. This role offers a varied mix of project delivery and business-as-usual support, with the opportunity to step up as the senior engineer across the team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and support core network technologies including switching, routing, SD-WAN, and firewalls.
  • Lead projects and contribute to BAU operations, ensuring reliable and secure network performance.
  • Act as the senior point of escalation within the team, mentor colleagues, and set technical standards.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across the business, clearly articulate technical details in a way that supports decision-making.
  • Participate in an on-call roster and provide support for business-critical incidents.
  • Travel interstate on occasion, supporting regional projects and teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience across a broad range of network technologies (switching, routing, SD-WAN, firewalls).
  • Strong communication skills; ability to confidently present to the business and influence outcomes.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and support other engineers.
  • Comfortable with travel and participating in an on-call roster.
