
Visual Arts Teacher Position

We are seeking a skilled Visual Arts teacher to join our dynamic team. As a Visual Arts teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and innovative programs across Year 2 – Year 6, with a thorough understanding of the WA Arts curriculum.
The successful candidate will have experience in teaching skills and techniques in ceramics, painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, textiles, and digital art. You will also use assessment data to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching programs and inform planning in Visual Arts for students across the school.
A strong coordinator, you will coordinate Visual Arts school exhibitions and develop links with community groups and external artists to enhance the school's Arts program.
About the Role- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Visual Arts programs across Year 2 – Year 6.
- Teach skills and techniques in ceramics, painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, textiles, and digital art.
- Use assessment data to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching programs and inform planning in Visual Arts for students across the school.
- Coordinate Visual Arts school exhibitions and develop links with community groups and external artists.
- An eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- A current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit.
