Bar Attendant Role

We are seeking a skilled Bar Attendant to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional guest service and managing bar operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all cash and credit transfers throughout the shift and ensure accurate recording and storage of opening or closing checklists.
  2. Maintain a clean bar area, verify equipment functionality, and ensure proper rotation and checking of stock.
  3. Inform guests about various types, brands, and characteristics of liquors, maintain knowledge of in-house wines, spirits, monthly specials, and promotions.
  4. Manage bar food orders and serve beverages using the correct glassware with precise measurements of alcohol.
  5. Record spillage and wastage of stock and dispose of items in the correct bin.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience.
  • Cocktail knowledge and making experience is highly desirable.
  • High attention to detail, including personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Previous experience working in a bar environment, such as a bottle shop.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gambling certificates required.
