This challenging role requires individuals to prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents for private clients. Strategic tax planning and advisory services will also be provided to help clients minimize their tax liabilities.

  • This position involves advising clients on business decisions and financial management strategies. It also requires collaborating with clients to understand their unique financial needs and goals.
  • Supervision and mentorship of junior members of the accounting team is also a key aspect of this role.

To be successful, candidates must have at least 4+ years of tax compliance/business services experience working within an accounting public practice firm in Australia. A CPA/CA qualification or working towards it is essential. Proven expertise in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents is also required.

Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and strategic financial advice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, are also necessary. Thorough understanding of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices is essential.
