About the Role:

LD Total, a leading provider of end-to-end landscape solutions, is seeking a skilled Estimator and Contract Administrator to join our team in Caloundra. This dual role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by accurately estimating project costs and managing contracts throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Administration: Manage the administration of contracts from start to finish in a wide range of landscape construction projects.
  • Estimation and Cost Management: Prepare accurate project cost estimates and manage costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client Communication: Maintain high-end delivery standards and ensure effective client correspondence.
  • Project Coordination: Work with department managers and site supervisors to complete projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standard of workmanship.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and manage all site documentation, including certifications and processing of sub-contractor progress claims and material invoices.
  • Contract Variations and Claims: Review and submit requests for information (RFIs), extensions of time (EOTs), and contract variations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in estimating and contract administration within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction project management processes and contracts.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high-level client liaison and customer service experience.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
