This position requires a highly skilled professional who can develop and implement strategies to ensure that an organisation's operations can continue uninterrupted in the event of a disaster or other disruption.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global law firm as a business continuity and resilience manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic advice and guidance on business continuity and risk management practices, including developing and implementing business continuity plans, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating incident response and recovery activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business continuity principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. They will also have experience working with global teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement business continuity plans to ensure organisational resilience.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Coordinate incident response and recovery activities to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Provide strategic advice and guidance on business continuity and risk management practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business continuity and risk management strategies.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in business continuity and/or operational resilience.
Strong knowledge of business continuity principles and practices.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Experience working with global teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Certification in business continuity management (e.g. CBCP, BCMP) is an asset.
