Sustainability Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Lead to join our team at Wilmar. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of our sustainability strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to reduce our environmental footprint across all operational areas
• Refine and update our sustainability strategy to ensure alignment with industry best practices
• Manage stakeholder communication and engagement on sustainability matters
• Lead and support functional sustainability streams to develop and implement plans
• Develop and implement governance and reporting frameworks to measure and communicate sustainability impacts
• Provide guidance and thought leadership on emerging and existing material sustainability topics

Requirements

• Degree qualified in an appropriate field, such as environmental science or sustainability
• 5+ years of experience in sustainability-related areas, with a strong commercial focus
• Solutions-focused with creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and influential skills
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
