Job Overview

The Care Manager role involves working closely with the Residential Manager to oversee clinical and health outcomes for residents.

This includes ensuring clinical excellence, adhering to policies and procedures, and continuously improving standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish comprehensive communication between multidisciplinary teams.
  • Work closely with resident families to ensure they are informed about clinical issues.
  • Mentor staff and share clinical knowledge to contribute to team effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Care Manager or senior Registered Nurse in aged care.
  • A hands-on approach to quality clinical care.
  • Ability to supervise, delegate, and work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to Christian values.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
  • Post-graduate study in relevant disciplines (geriatrics, dementia, palliative care) highly desirable.
