In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in the multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within the perioperative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgery, utilising best practice evidence and prioritising patient safety above all else.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and maintain open communication channels.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues to achieve quality care outcomes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of latest theatre nursing practices and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and expertise.
- Holding current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse is mandatory.
- Demonstrated competence in nursing care delivery within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team setting.
- Possess effective clinical communication skills, including proficiency in using information technology, written and verbal means, and strong interpersonal relationships.
