Actuarial Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our team.

About the Position

This role involves operating and enhancing long-term cashflow projection models, analysing experience, and assessing the impact of pricing or product changes.

  • Operate and improve cashflow projection models.
  • Deliver accurate monthly valuation results and reports.
  • Analyse data and investigate anomalies in portfolio experience.
  • Support strategic decision-making with impact analysis.
  • Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from across the business.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Operating and improving Greenstone's cashflow projection models.
  2. Delivering accurate monthly valuation results and reports.
  3. Analysing data and investigating anomalies in portfolio experience.
  4. Supporting strategic decision-making with impact analysis.
  5. Responding to ad hoc analysis requests from across the business.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies or similar quantitative field.
  • 2-5 years' experience in an actuarial or analytics position.
  • A clear communicator with ability to present technical findings.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python (R desirable).
