Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Leadership Specialist to join our team at Allocate. As a key member of our Services Delivery team, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to delivery, ensuring they meet the required standards and exceed customer expectations.
Salary
The successful candidate can expect a salary in the range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description
In this role, you will work closely with customers, consultants, and internal teams to scope, manage, and mitigate risks. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Satisfaction/Management:
- Work with Managing Consultants to ensure correct and qualified resources are assigned to customer projects.
- Attend and contribute to regular project meetings as project lead.
- Ensure the assigned project team is fully briefed on project scope and delivers the project on time and within agreed budgets.
- Listen to issues raised by the customer and take corrective actions and escalations as appropriate.
- Project Management:
- Accurately set up and resource allocation in professional services administration systems.
- Monitor time spent against budget and identify Change Requests when existing scope and budget may be exceeded.
- Identify and escalate project issues as necessary.
- Protect company IP and collect IP built on customer projects.
- Own project status reports.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews.
- Project Profitability & Commercial Management:
- Ensure projects conform to agreed duration, daily rates, and margin percentages.
- Ensure all contractual documents (Professional Services Agreements, Engagement Authorisations) are signed and in place prior to commencing project delivery.
- Ensure implementation methodologies are adhered to.
- Review and approve/reject Time and Expenses for projects in a timely manner.
- Re-bill incurred expenses to clients in accordance with Professional Services Agreement Terms & Conditions.
Competencies Required:
- Time Management: Must demonstrate exceptional capability to manage time and prioritize workload to deliver within tight deadlines.
- Planning and Organising: Must use foresight to plan and ensure delivery of implementation projects to time and customer needs.
- Customer Centric: Strong and accomplished customer-facing skills and experience.
- Financial: A full understanding and previous experience of managing project profitability.
- Cross Team Working: Successfully works with the wider team (Sales, Product, R&D, Support, and Customer Success).
- Influence: The ability to influence stakeholders where necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
- Analytical thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: Must have an analytical mindset and approach to problems and issues.
- Resilient: Must be able to cope effectively with unexpected events that may occur within projects both internally and client-facing, bouncing back to achieve successful outcomes.
Experience:
- Experience of managing software migration projects.
- Budgeting and cost management.
- Excellent Communication and information management skills.
- Extensive programme stakeholder management experience.
- A strong understanding of risk and issues management processes.
- Experience working in conjunction with Sales Account Managers.
- Well-presented.
- Package Software Implementation experience.
- At least 3 years of Project Management experience.
- Highly competent in using Project Business Tools (including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject, Smartsheet).
- Experience implementing Workforce Management or Patient Safety/Risk Projects.
