The role of a Ground Services Manager at Mackay Airport is pivotal, encompassing the oversight of airport operations and management of functional relationships with stakeholders.
- Foster strong partnerships with Airline Customers based on trust, respect, and exceeding their expectations.
Lead a dynamic team of over 15 employees, possessing leadership skills combined with exceptional emotional intelligence, integrity, self-awareness, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain high standards for Safety and Compliance in accordance with Airline and Company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Cultivate cohesive relationships with Airport Authority and Airline Customer stakeholders.
- Oversee workforce management, fostering a Just Culture and promoting incident reporting to ensure Safety and Compliance.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Ground Handling Services at an Australian Airport.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in people management.
- Comprehensive understanding of Airport Regulations and Compliance.
- A thorough grasp of Airline Customer expectations regarding Safety and Compliance.
