Job Title: Director of Client ServicesA leading organization seeks a dedicated Director of Client Services to oversee the management of clients with complex needs who are homeless or at risk of being homeless.The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications, experience working with vulnerable people, and expertise in staff supervision and development.Responsibilities include:
  • Supervising Case Workers to provide person-centred support for clients
  • Managing Intake and referrals into the service
  • Leading relationships with external services and providers
  • Convening case conferences with key stakeholders as required
  • Coordinating group case management sessions for clients
Requirements for Success:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Social Work, Allied Health, Behavioural Sciences)
  • Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable people, including those experiencing homelessness
  • Experience in staff supervision and development
  • Experience working with individuals with complex issues and needs
  • Experience in case management
  • Skills in risk assessment, intake and assessment, safety planning, counselling, referral and advocacy
  • Ability to keep accurate records
  • Ability to network and develop effective relationships
  • High level of written and verbal communication, administration and computer skills
