We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Estimator to join our team in Adelaide or Melbourne, working on exciting projects with leading clients in the construction industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the estimation process, including reviewing and validating contractors' cost estimates, negotiating cost adjustments, and ensuring timely progress of estimates from submission to award.

About the Role:

  • Lead the estimation process for various construction projects, including review and validation of contractors' cost estimates.
  • Negotiate cost adjustments with contractors' estimating teams to ensure value for money.
  • Manage workload to ensure timely progress of estimates from submission to award.

About KBR Inc.:

We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience, ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, quantity surveying, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully winning profitable work.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software (in particular Expert Estimation) and other relevant tools.
