Job Overview

The Retail Facilities Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring optimal return on investment for a portfolio of retail centers. Key responsibilities include fostering strong relationships with tenants and service providers, providing strategic recommendations to enhance overall performance, and exercising control over costs and expenditure.

  • Ensure proactive management of building compliance to meet legislative requirements at all times.
  • Regularly review and renegotiate service contracts, considering best practices and specifications.
  • Oversee daily contractor activities on-site.
  • Maintain high standards in presentation and day-to-day operations, encompassing security, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Develop robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, clients, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Conduct regular reviews of monthly operating expenditure against budget.
  • Collaborate with the Centre General Manager to produce client reports as required.
  • Ensure scheduled preventative maintenance is executed according to set schedules and plant/equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Promote sustainability improvements and add value through operational efficiencies.
  • Manage capital expenditure projects.

This role requires an individual with strong commercial acumen in retail/centre management, capable of efficiently managing day-to-day operations and delivering tangible value.
