Des's Group is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Commuter Services Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional passenger experiences on the Whyalla Town service, mine trips, and Coach Charter excursions.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid HR or MR driver's license, with LP vehicle accreditation being an added advantage. A proven safe driving record, strong communication skills, and high levels of customer service are essential for success in this position.

We are committed to providing a safe working environment that adheres to OHS policies and procedures. Our drivers must maintain a professional standard of service, ensuring passengers receive a comfortable and enjoyable journey at all times.

To be considered, applicants should demonstrate:

  • A current HR or MR driver's license (mandatory)
  • Small Passenger (SP) and/or Large Passenger (LP) Vehicle Driver Accreditation (advantageous)
  • A clean driving history
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Effective record-keeping skills
  • Good money handling skills
  • Active listening and effective communication
  • Knowledge of Australian Road Rules
  • Familiarity with the local area, streets, and attractions

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive package that includes benefits and opportunities for growth and development within Des's Group.
