As a Support Worker with Community Support Incorporated, you will play a vital role in providing in-home support to our clients, assisting with personal care needs, domestic activities, and social support. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to ensure their comfort and well-being.

Some shifts may require assisting clients with complex personal needs, and training is provided to all Support Workers prior to providing complex personal care shifts. You will also be required to have and use your personal smartphone for work purposes, as well as a reliable and safe motor vehicle if providing transport shifts.

Key Requirements for the Role

  • Passion for helping and supporting those who are living with a disability
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired
  • Smartphone with compatible functionality to use required systems and applications
  • Current DHS Child-Related or Disability Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Current valid Police Check (within the last 6 months)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Unrestricted Drivers' Licence and roadworthy-ensured vehicle if transporting clients
