Locomotive Driver

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced locomotive driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating trains in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate locomotives according to safety procedures
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as shunting and brake tests
- Prepare documentation associated with train operations
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Certificate IV in Train Driving and recent practical experience working on diesel locomotives.
Additional requirements include a basic understanding of safe-working procedures, a current motor vehicle license, and strong communication skills.
Applicants will undergo a thorough background check, provide relevant qualifications, and undertake a medical examination before commencing employment.
The selected candidate will work closely with the train crew to ensure the safe and efficient operation of freight trains.
Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends
