Disability Support Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker. This role provides an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities, supporting them to actively participate in their community and achieve their goals.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, families, and carers to develop and implement person-centred plans that promote independence, choice, and inclusion. They will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new programs and services that meet the evolving needs of the community.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of disability support principles and practices. You will also require the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

  • Supporting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Assisting clients with mobility and transportation needs

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Passionate about delivering high-quality support services to people with disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Australian Driver Licence

Knowledge and experience in disability support principles and practices is highly desirable, but not essential. We provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role.
