Facility Cleaner Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Facility Cleaner. This is a full-time position working in a premier Aged Care or Independent Living Facility located in The Shire region.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in an Aged Care environment, but this is not a requirement. We offer the opportunity to make a positive impact on the quality of life of elderly residents and support their wellbeing.

  • Help maintain the cleanliness of the facility
  • Complete tasks associated with cleaning both front of house and back of house areas
  • Follow schedules and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Availability to work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday shifts commencing at 7am
  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning and/or housekeeping environments
  • A good understanding of safety elements associated with the job
  • A good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling
  • Two vaccinations for Covid-19 and a current Influenza vaccination
  • A valid police check
  • A valid NDIS Workers Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Good presentation and grooming
  • Sound communication skills
