Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Communication Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who wants to work in a collaborative environment.

The role offers a pediatric caseload, primarily clinic-based, with some services delivered in local schools and preschools. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, including speech pathologists and occupational therapists.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver family-centered care to children with communication disorders
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide regular peer supervision and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or related field
  • Membership with relevant professional association
  • Passion for working with children and delivering family-centered care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Driver's license and Working With Children Check preferred
