Windows SOE & Endpoint Management Engineer Job Opportunity

This role is for a seasoned Windows SOE and Endpoint Management professional with expertise in building, maintaining, and deploying Windows endpoint solutions.

Job Description:

  • Design and maintain standard Windows SOE images aligned to industry best practices such as ISM, Essential Eight, and ISO 27001.
  • Packaging and deployment of applications via MSIX/Win32 and Intune or Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
  • Intune and Endpoint management: Policies, compliance, Conditional Access, baselines, Autopilot, application, and update rings.
  • Lifecycle and patching: Provisioning, configuration, monthly patching, and Windows version upgrades with minimal disruption.
  • Security controls: BitLocker, Defender policies, hardening, and secure baselines mapped to public sector standards.
  • Automation using PowerShell and related tooling to automate builds, config, and remediation.
  • Troubleshooting: L3 escalation for SOE, application, and deployment issues; clear runbooks/docs.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams; support non-Windows endpoints where required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Windows Endpoint Management/SOE engineering.
  • Proven experience in SOE build, application packaging, and Intune deployment; MECM/SCCM a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell, GPO/baselines, Defender, BitLocker, and public sector compliance exposure (ISM/E8/ISO).
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
