Executive Leadership Role for Population Health Management

This high-profile leadership position reports directly to the Chief Executive and oversees operational functions, health services development, and implementation of initiatives focused on state-wide population health, drug and alcohol services, oral health, pharmacy services, health promotion, and prevention.

The successful candidate will drive improved health outcomes, prevention, and health protection through enhanced coordination of services between primary, community, and hospital settings. A key focus area includes improving accessibility and equity of health service delivery to marginalized and priority population groups, working closely with government and non-government health sectors.

This role offers an opportunity for a transformational leader to influence multiple stakeholders across all disciplines of the health profession, government, NGOs, and diverse patient communities. The General Manager will lead the Office of Allied Health and provide strategic direction for the organization's health programs.

Essential Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in public health or public policy or relevant field with a strong research evidence component;
  • Significant experience managing a public health service in a complex environment;
  • Experience in developing, leading, and delivering health programs and health protection in priority or marginalized environments.
