Team Dynamics:

In this position, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing the platforms that support our entire operation. You will have the chance to lead continuous improvement initiatives, making our systems simpler, faster, and more secure.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team responsible for managing the Event Streaming Platform, both on-premises and in the cloud. You will be expected to enhance services through a DevOps approach, build clusters, and ensure the platform operates 24/7.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering within a cloud environment.
  • Hands-on technical experience in a public cloud setting, preferably with AWS or Azure.
  • A passion for Cloud, DevOps, and Automation, with a systematic approach to solving complex challenges.

Technical Proficiencies:

We utilize a diverse array of tools, languages, and frameworks. While we do not expect you to be familiar with all of them, experience with some of the following will enhance your success in this role:

  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Go, Java, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, BitBucket, Bamboo, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, TeamCity, Artifactory, and Docker Registry.
  • Familiarity with Cloud/AWS fundamental services (IAM, VPC, EC2).
  • Confidence in Linux environments.
  • Experience with distributed version control systems like GitHub, Bitbucket, and GitLab.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, and Ansible is highly desirable.
